Kuyt sidelined by shoulder injurySoccer Betting Lines09/06/2010 - Rotterdam, Netherlands (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Netherlands striker Dirk Kuyt is expected to miss the next few weeks after he suffered a shoulder injury in training, Dutch manager Bert van Marwijk confirmed on Monday. Kuyt sustained the injury when he fell awkwardly while attempting a bicycle kick in training, and Van Marwijk revealed the extend of the damage at a news conference. "He tries that maneuver a lot but this time it went wrong," Van Marwijk said. "He pulled some ligaments in his shoulder and maybe some are torn." The injury will keep Kuyt out of Tuesday's Euro 2012 qualifier against Finland in Group E play, while Van Marwijk will also be without fellow attackers Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie due to injury. The Dutch recorded a 5-0 win in their opening match on Friday against San Marino, while Finland suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Moldova.

The nine league wins are Colorado (twice), Missouri (twice), Iowa State (twice), Baylor, Nebraska and (a good one against) Texas. That helps explain the middling computer profile. The win over USC is nice, but the nonconference leaves a lot to be desired. The game at OK State in Stillwater on Tuesday is huge, as it could KO the Cowboys and leave K-State with a home date against Oklahoma with which to work.
