Crosby, 24, missed more than 10 months after suffering a concussion last January and only returned to action November 21. In eight games this season, he has two goals and 12 points. The Pens also said on Monday that center Jordan Staal and defenseman Simon Despres both returned to practice. Staal has been out since January 6 with a knee injury and Despres has also been out with a knee injury.
